Kevin returns to Maine on a dark mission. Olive invites Kevin to stay with her. Olive has a disagreement with the bride's mother at Christopher's wedding.

After a dinner with friends, Olive and Henry make a pit stop that takes a chilling turn. Christopher suggests that his parents should get counselling. Christopher confronts his mother about rebuking him throughout his childhood.

Olive goes to New York City to visit Christopher, but is put off by his wife's demeanour. Olive receives bad news about Henry. Olive and Jack Kennison develop an unlikely bond.
