Lola has a crush on Charly, the most handsome and enigmatic boy in her year, but Virginia claims that she has won Charly's heart and has even kissed him.

Famous teenage actor John Bloon enrols incognito at Lola's school to feel what it is like to have a normal life and real friends.

Lola and Haide have been friends since nursery school and nothing and no one has ever managed to separate them. Virginia, who is green with envy, sets out to destroy their friendship. Her chance comes the day that Lola and Haide buy a t-shirt to share between them.

For a school assignment, Lola, Poppy and Haide visit Poppy's aunt, Sara Africati, an elderly anthropologist, whose house is stuffed full of objects from remote, primitive cultures. Among these objects, Aunt Sara has an incredible collection of dolls from all around the world.
