Sicily, 2019: Salvo is a clumsy thief of sacred art, while Don Valentino is a fussy priest obsessed with making a living Nativity scene. When Salvo tries to steal the Holy Child – and Valentino chases him – they cross a reed bed and find themselves catapulted into Herod's Palestine in the year zero. The two then begin the search for Jesus' hut so that the Virgin may grant them the miracle of returning to modern-day Palermo in 2019. On their journey through time, culminating with the birth of Jesus, amid amusing misunderstandings, they will meet many characters from the Bible, including King Herod. Some flashing lights sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.
