David Sheiner

With a career that spans five decades, David Sheiner is better known for his body of work (over 80 titles) than for any of his roles in particular. His acting resume is littered with small roles on high-profile television shows. From playing Doc on an episode of the timeless sci-fi series "The Twilight Zone" and portraying four different characters in six episodes of the action/adventure classic "Mission: Impossible" to a guest appearance as a preacher in the Western drama "Gunsmoke," Sheiner had the ability to jump from genre to genre and deliver a solid performance without fail. If he could be linked to any particular character, it might be to Roy--one of Oscar Madison's poker buddies in the 1968 comedy "The Odd Couple," starring Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon as divorcés who decide to live together, despite the fact that one is a slovenly layabout while the other is a well-groomed gentleman with a host of obsessive-compulsive behaviors.
