Menudo: Forever Young

In 1977, business-minded manager, Edgardo Díaz, took a gamble when he formed the "forever young" boy band Menudo, regularly replacing its members when they aged out of the desired demographic.

After Menudo's triumphant New York City debut, the band expanded into English-language music, infecting youth culture and bolstering Edgardo Díaz's empire; a run-in with Miami law threatened the band's wholesome image.

The Menudo empire begins to show cracks amid claims of mistreatment and allegations of sexual abuse; as officials seem to turn a blind eye to the complaints of some parents, the next generation of band members is introduced.

Nearly four decades after the group was first formed, some former members grapple with the unresolved injustice, scandal, and trauma of their experience.
