S1, E6: Tom and Kate prepare to leave for America but are delayed when they discover Evelyn and Max are missing. They track them to The Hub where they find they have been taken hostage by Eric Bell, a Taker. Lawrence arrives, with a breakthrough about the hack and Eric attacks him. Tom saves his father from Eric but Max stabs Lawrence and kills him, revealing himself to still be “taken”.
