6. Homecoming

S1 E6: The spirit of a teenage boy approaches Melinda about finding his birth mother. Unsure of where to begin, Melinda approaches the boy's adoptive mother for more information and learns that his real mother never wanted to know her son. After meeting his birth mother, Melinda is left with the challenge of securing an affirmation of her love for her son so he can cross over.
