Episode 8

S1 E8: It is reported in the newspaper that the flight had simply crashed. Brigitte decides to hide this news from the other girls. There is now a blocklade around Estonia and Metsla advises there is a threat that the girls might be forced to go to labour camps under Russian occupation. He suggests they can register their premises as a language school. Propaganda news has it that the Russians are receiving a warm welcome from the Estonians. Metsla sends a lot of Russian food for a banquet for some Russian dignitaries but this doesn't happen and Metsla instead brings materials for them to make banners for a demonstration. Brigitte decides to invite Alice to the house and muses that things have changed - it's now educated city girls who want to work. Vivian, disobeys instructions and goes to town to see the demonstration. Later Linda hears gunfire coming from the town direction.
