S1 E2: Simon’s psychiatrist Alex is drawn into his client’s case, at first by Simon’s call for help, then through his own need to understand why Simon took the child. As Alex burrows deeper, he becomes both frustrated and deeply affected by Simon’s unwavering romanticism, which hits close to home as Alex struggles with his own separation and begins to embark on a romance with his old friend, and Simon’s lawyer, Gina.
