Hawkes is led astray by his girlfriend, Camille, who gets him to phone in sick so that they can go to a gourmet food festival. However, after one of the catering vans is flambéed, taking its young chef with it, he is caught playing truant as his colleagues arrive on the scene to pick through the bones.
