Om Me Gee

S1 E8: Marnie enlists Danny’s help to work out what’s so great about the Wildcats anyway. He suggests she needs to ‘know her enemy’ so Marnie goes spying at the Wildcats clubhouse and is stunned to see their amazing facilities, fantastic changing rooms… and Ruby sitting in the clubhouse for a team talk. Marnie’s hunch was right. Ruby is defecting to the enemy. Marnie and Liv organize a Nachos Night to remind Ruby what she’s giving up. They might have a spectacular clubhouse and professional training drills, but the Wildcats don’t know fun times and guacamole like Marnie and Liv. Marnie tries her best but she totally over does the faked fun and the whole night falls flat on its face. Ruby feeling uncomfortable and guilty, tries to leave the party, prompting Marnie to reveal her true motives. She tries to convince Ruby to stay with the Mustangs. But Ruby’s having none of it. Given half the chance, she knows that Marnie would do the same thing - they both want to be the best. They both want to win. And the Wildcats is where it’s at. Not the Mustangs, despite the nachos. When Ruby turns up at Mustangs training to handover her kit, Danny drops his bombshell. Whatever Ruby might think, she isn’t allowed to play for anyone but the Mustangs until the end of the season. She’s registered for the team and it’s too late to change. They’re stuck with each other. The Mustangs have to play with the traitor and Ruby has to suck it up.
