S1 E11: The Mustangs have made it to the final eight, but Marnie’s in a slump - Anusha’s tactics divided the team, Lara’s lecturing her on leadership, Liv is giving her the stink-eye and even Gabe is sick of being used as a shoulder to cry on when he wants to be so much more. Could life suck any harder? Marnie ‘girls up’ to a somewhat hostile team. It takes all her guts to tell the Mustangs she made a mistake but now it’s time to move on. They have the semis this weekend - who is up for a hardcore training and bonding regime, Mustangs style? The girls throw themselves into it and although they gently try to encourage Anusha to get back in the game, she pushes them away. She doesn’t need anyone feeling sorry for her. Bella is desperate for Anusha to return to the team - Is Nush just going to quit every time things get messy? Meantime, Liv tells Marnie how impressed she is with Marnie’s captaincy these days. And before she’s realised, Liv has gone the blurt and tells Marnie that she’s just so glad she fixed the vote count and threw the captaincy Marnie’s way. She can’t think of anyone else who could have lead them into the semis. Marnie’s jaw drops. Sometimes Liv wishes that her mouth had a rewind button!
