S1, E1: In the early 1960s, communism threatens Asia, so Australia sends an elite unit of soldiers to train the South Vietnamese army to fight the communists. The Australian Army Training Team Vietnam - aka The Team - would eventually fight side-by-side with the Vietnamese and find itself involved in violent CIA-led campaigns to defeat the Viet Cong.
