1966 Duke Kahanamoku Invitational Surfing Championship

The second annual Duke Kahanamoku Invitational Championship is said to be the greatest Duke contest ever held because of the extremely big surf at Sunset Beach. Surfer Magazine called it "the perfect surfing contest." The contestants said the surf was 12 to 18 feet. Interviews include: Mike Doyle, Fred Hemmings, Rusty Miller, Ben Aipa, Eddie Aikau, Ricky Grigg, and the Duke.
