Perfect Strangers

Ginger Rogers and Dennis Morgan star in this murder mystery, courtroom drama, comedy, romance as two people brought together by fate and the Los Angeles judicial system--two people destined to become lovers who might have remained Perfect Strangers. While divorcee Theresa Scott (Academy Award winner Rogers--The Gay Divorcee, The Barkleys of Broadway) spends days with husband and father David Campbell (Morgan--Christmas in Connecticut). Now as the two disagree as they must decide the fate of a woman who allegedly murdered her husband rather than grant a divorce, the two realize they are being drawn into the same situation. Based on the play Ladies and Gentlemen by Leslie Bush-Fekete, Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur.
