Stray Cats - Live At Rockpalast: Cologne 1981
When the Stray Cats entered the stage in the 80's, rockabilly was hot. Grease quiffs and tattoos were the outside badges; upright drums and bass the characteristic instruments. The band was founded 1979 in New York. Their first album rapidly appeared on the British charts. It was the mixture of traditional rockabilly and new wave which helped quickly popularize the Stray Cats all around the world.
