Four years ago, Dick, Donna, Hank, Dawn and Garth -- aka Aqualad -- lived together in Titans Tower, thriving as a superhero team and growing into a tight-knight family. However, their personal feelings start to bleed into their work.
Dick finally reveals the truth to the team; flashbacks reveal the secret behind Deathstroke's vendetta against the Titans; Dick, Donna, Dawn and Hank befriend Jericho Wilson, Deathstroke's son; Dick faces a choice between loyalty and revenge.
The Titans reassemble under Dick, who has fully taken on the mantle of Nightwing, to fight Deathstroke and try to save Jericho; the team finds itself up against mind-altered versions of Gar and Conner, who are supercharged weapons of Mercy Graves.
Hank, at a new low, is cage-fighting for money to support his unhealthy habits, but when he wakes up to find his Hawk suit gone -- and an imposter acting in his stead -- he realises how far he has fallen.
