David Greenlee

Best known as the socially inept character Dwight from the '80s TV series "Fame," David Greenlee was born, in Newport Beach, California. Greenlee made his television debut as Dwight, the nerdy hall monitor, on the high school musical series in February of 1982. During the four years he appeared on the show, he made guest spots on other television programs, among them: "CBS Afternoon Playhouse" "CBS Schoolbreak Special," and "The Twilight Zone." In the midst of developing his acting career, Greenlee attended Orange Coast College and trained at the South Coast Repertory Theater. After the show wrapped, he snagged a recurring role of Mouse on the popular romantic drama series "Beauty and the Beast." While he managed a string of guest roles on show like "21 Jump Street" "Roseanne" "Renegade," and "Sisters," his TV appearances were on the wane when he moved into voice work in the late '80s. His most notable voice role is Hero Ishida on the animated series "Digimon: Digital Monsters."
