Elliot Lawrence

Elliot Lawrence worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Lawrence worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Annie: the Women in the Life of a Man" (CBS, 1969-1970), "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1955-2010) and "Network" (1976). He also contributed to "Search For Tomorrow" (CBS, 1951-1987), "That's Life" (ABC, 1968-69) and "The Edge of Night" (CBS, 1955-1985). In the eighties, Lawrence lent his talents to projects like "Irving Berlin's 100th Birthday Celebration" (CBS, 1987-88), "The 42nd Annual Tony Awards" (CBS, 1987-88) and "Command Performance: An All-Star Salute to the President" (ABC, 1988-89). His credits also expanded to "The 43rd Annual Tony Awards" (CBS, 1988-89) and "The Songwriters Hall of Fame 20th Anniversary... The Magic of Music" (CBS, 1988-89). Most recently, Lawrence appeared on "The 67th Annual Tony Awards" (CBS, 2012-13). Lawrence was nominated for an Outstanding Achievement In Music Direction Primetime Emmy Award for "The Night of 100 Stars II" in 1985 as well as for an Outstanding Individual Achievement In Music Direction Primetime Emmy Award for "The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts" in 1994. Lawrence won a Conductor and Musical Director Tony Award in 1962.
