Jacqui Holland is a writer, producer, and actress who fled the Midwest for the West Coast to take on Hollywood. Her first regular series role came with the part of Jerricha in the 2009 comedy series "Beverlywood." The show revolved around an heiress (Holland) who loses her fortune to her drug habit and must face the consequences and figure out how to survive and maintain her lifestyle. Her first credited film role was in 2007 as Susan Chambers in the horror film "Each Time I Kill," about a young girl who commits murder to achieve greater physical beauty. The film premiered at the New York Underground Film Festival. Holland also enjoys working behind the camera, writing and producing short films and sketches in which she also stars. This includes the 2011 short film, "Jillian Sometimes." As the title character, Holland is a woman suffering from mental distress as the result of a personal trauma. When she is not acting, Holland also performs as a stand-up comedian. Her comedic skills have been put to use in memorable roles such as Kindly Stripper in the 2008 romantic comedy "My Best Friend's Girl." Holland also began her own production company, J-Star Pictures, which she runs with domestic partner Jason Lockhart, based in Los Angeles.
