Joan Blair

Joan Blair was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Blair started off her career in film with roles in the Gary Cooper comedy "His Woman" (1931) and the mystery "Mr. District Attorney" (1941) with Dennis O'Keefe. Blair next focused her career on film, appearing in the Patsy Kelly comedy "My Son, the Hero" (1943), "The Constant Nymph" (1943) and the Ludwig Donath drama "The Strange Death of Adolf Hitler" (1943). She also appeared in "Whispering Footsteps" (1943). Later in her career, Blair wrote "Return to the River Kwai" (1989). Blair passed away in January 1997 at the age of 94.
