Michael Catherwood

In 2010, "Psycho" Mike became the co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show, "Loveline" (1983-) opposite TV personality and addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. Due to his own experience with substance abuse, "Psycho" Mike not only entertained but also doled out solid and genuine advice to listeners. In early 2011, he beat out hundreds of DJs in a contest where he was given the opportunity to co-host the popular daytime talk show "Live with Regis & Kelly" (ABC, 1988-) for a day. "Psycho" Mike - who bore a strong resemblance to Kelly Ripa's actor husband Mark Consuelo - instantly gained attention for his co-hosting duties and even received offers while still taping the show, including appearing on season 12 of the hit reality competition series "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005-). While "Psycho" Mike initially hesitated accepting the offer out of fear that he would be pegged as that season's "unknown celebrity," he eventually ended up on the dance floor along with the show's other contestants such as actor Ralph Macchio, supermodel Petra Nemcova, and reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson, among others.
