In season two Suzy and Henry navigate their new world and the pressures it brings to their love and sanity. Whilst their yearning to be together physically results in some hilariously hare-brained schemes, they stumble across the knowledge that their rare and unusual love is not a first, and there is a way for them to be together - but the cost is colossal. While Suzy and Henry debate that cost, Suzy finds herself the object of a powerful and charismatic new ghost's attention. 'The King' presents as a wise and ancient soul, but he is soon revealed as something more sinister. And the closer they get to discovering and exposing his shocking past, the more dangerous he becomes. Meanwhile, Henry is under threat from a new and unexpected source. Rita's new friend, Jennifer the Make-up Lady, is a sweet young woman who wants to put his soul to rest. Forever. And she has a rather un-ladylike way of going about it …
