Mihashi is forced to join the baseball team at his new school; however, he manages to make friends with catcher Abe.

The baseball team attends a training camp where they make preparations for their first match against Mihashi's old school; Abe realises that his catcher's role is just as important off the pitch.

Pitcher and catcher must learn to trust each other, but Mihashi still doubts himself due to bullying and scorn from his former teammates.
