Country Town Rescue

The tree change scheme is launched, and the Trundle Tree-Change committee starts reviewing applicants from all over the world. They decide that Trundle's Christmas Fair will double as an open day for the short listed applicants.

Trundle welcomes Donna Roberts and family. The Elemams are coming to terms with life in the bush, including finding a water tank full of dead frogs while the Guerke family are having landlord and veranda troubles.

The Guerke's relationship with their landlord has deteriorated further and the committee meets to discuss a solution. The Gallen's arrive in town and Jo seeks a job at the local pub.

The Trundle families face some highs and lows. Baby news for the Gallens and a new home for the Guerke's. But after their son's asthma worsens, the Moore's face a tough decision - should they stay or should they go?

It's the biggest day of the year on the social calendar, the Annual Show and the Trundle Tree Changers are getting in on the competition.

As the year draws to a close on Trundle's bold Tree Change scheme, four out of the five families have lasted the distance. Now there's even a wedding and a baby on the way!
