Korean soldier Si-jin senses a connection with a beautiful and strong-willed surgeon named Mo-yeon while on vacation following a sensitive military operation.

Ji Jin returns home after a dangerous mission overseas and meets up with Mo Yeon again, after she assists in a dangerous surgery. Later, Mo Yeon and Ji Jin go to see a movie together.

Si-jin and and Mo-yeon want to progress their relationship, but their careers get in the way. Plus, Myung-ju doesn't like how her father, Lieutenant Gen. Yoon, treats Dae-young.

When Mo-yeon insists she can save a dying man's life, tempers fly in the hospital. Plus, Myung-ju and Dae-young reunite at the airport.

Mo-yeon is left feeling confused about her relationship after her first intimate kiss with Si-jin. Plus, Si-jin is shocked after receiving a panicked phone call.

The country descends into chaos after a powerful earthquake strikes the city of Urk. It's up to the soldiers and medical team to search through the wreckage for survivors.
