A public break-up with her cheating music producer husband has superstar singer Hazel turning to her best friends Ari and Bree for support. Feeling unfulfilled, the women decide to reclaim their lives.

A spending spree with Derek's money results in Hazel being financially cut off. Ari agrees to be Hazel's lawyer, and is put in an awkward position after David accepts a donation from Derek.

Ari and David argue about Derek's growing involvement in David's campaign. Unable to find Hazel's pre-nup, Ari, Hazel, and Bree orchestrate a heist into Derek's penthouse to steal his copy.

Ari is upset when a scandalous video of her daughter Megan is leaked. Bree adjusts to the reality of life without Gary as he becomes less available. Hazel must sell her prized possessions to help with her financial situation.

Hazel brings Ari and Bree to a party for a music producer who could further her career, Ari feels dissatisfied in her marriage after spotting an ex, and Bree realises she still loves Gary.

Ari's attempt at reigniting the spark in her marriage backfires. Hazel helps Bree find her mojo so she can woo Gary away from his new girlfriend. Khalil urges a nervous Hazel to workshop her new material at an open mic night.
