Released from prison, Joey returns home to the Fitzroy community housing flats in the hopes of reuniting with his girlfriend, Rachol, but things aren't the same.

Joey encounters a substantial challenge post-prison as Troy suggests a big night out. Resisting the temptation, considering affordability and Rachol's opinion become pivotal factors.

Joey urgently requires cash to escape a beating and regain Rachol's favour; Aunty Sabrina embarks on a spending spree at Charcoal Chicken.

In an effort to win over Rachol, Joey suggests a family fishing excursion. All he needs is a fishing rod, a vehicle, lunch for the entire group and the skill to firmly reject any disruptive meddling from Troy.

Upon landing a job, Joey's embarrassment ensues when he realises a customer's request for `elbow grease' is a prank. This sparks a classic bout of self-sabotage and results in a bloody nose.

Joey meets his dad with the hope of becoming a better man, until Troy presents an offer that has the potential to unravel everything. Joey must navigate the situation, make the right choices and strive to reclaim his family.
