The family are in the thick of their busiest lambing season ever as the thrill of new life becomes a battle for survival; Kelvin and Liz enter the world of pig breeding as they attempt the complex art of artificial insemination.

Emotions run high as the family host their first public event; Marnie explains the importance of animal husbandry as she cares for an orphaned lamb named Aga; Bruce the boar arrives on the farm to maximise the chances of pig breeding success.

Kelvin takes son Milo on an adventure to his first cattle market and the twins celebrate their first birthday. However, an escapee sheep puts their dinner plans on hold.

The Fletchers gather in their expanded flock for an essential health check. The orphaned lamb Aga is thriving with the family's constant care.

Chickenpox hit the Fletcher household just as the family took delivery of their first flock of chickens; a neighbouring farmer helps Kelvin and Liz with their ever-increasing flock and preparations for sheep-shearing.

There is an emergency on the farm when a ewe becomes sick. Kelvin and Liz work together to take care of the pigs and try a new kind of farming technique.
