A forest suddenly appeared in Shibuya. There is a mysterious phenomenon, people going to the city are suddenly transforming into trees.

At the concert of the popular idol group, The Batteries, tens of thousands of visitors vanish in the blink of an eye.

There's a rumour that children in the city are disappearing one after the other. Upon hearing this, Mana contacts Kitarō in order to find the truth.

An elementary school student named Yūta hears stories about Kitarō from his neighbour, Mana, and ends up visiting the GeGeGe Forest.

When Nezumi-Otoko starts up the BiBiBi Electric Company with Mr. Ameyama and Kaminari, they hit the jackpot.

Kitarō arrives at a village deep within the mountains where an elderly woman named Masae is living alone.
