The Bay is a perfect place to live. A blissful seaside community where everyone knows everyone else. Like one big happy family. Well that was the case until Maxine's unfortunate speech at Ben and Sarah's engagement party. A speech that goes horribly wrong and changes everything. Was Tim in the changing room with someone? Who did Hailey send her love poem too? The Bay's golden couple have broken up and now everyone is taking sides. What a mess, and it's up to Maxine to put things right...

Maxine hunts down the mystery blond she saw Tim with and makes a drastic decision while investigating who Hailey sent the infamous love poem to. Meanwhile, Bob and Al (aka Dvd Al the video store owner) come to blows over late fees, Will keeps his distance from Gina after the "fat chick" comment and Olaf makes Maxine a creepy sandwich.

It's Maxine's birthday, but it'd be easy to think it wasn't. The smear campaign against Tim gets nasty. Olaf continues to follow Maxine everywhere while she does her best to get to the bottom of the "Skanky Two Timer" posters. Tim sinks further into his dark place and Maxine's camera is found. Could footage of the engagement party help solve the mystery of the changing room tart?

Maxine discovers clues in the found footage of the engagement party. Who do the blue shoes belong to? Could it be the girl in the changing room with Tim? Jake and Grayson go searching for Hailey's poetry book only to make another shock discovery, while Nicola and Stuart take their fight to the street. Can Maxine solve this problem or will she have to call on the help of Rose?

Maxine, Gina, Jake and Grayson attempt to talk their way out of breaking into Hailey's room. Bob and Cecil lock horns over the grass verge. Or is it called a berm? Maxine goes on an undercover mission to Sarah's hen's party. Grayson continues his feminist movement. Tim fears for his life as Kjesten takes her stalking to a new level and could there be a flicker of something between Jake and Maxine?

If Gina was wearing the blue shoes what else could she be up to? Could she be making the moves on Jake and Grayson? Tim attempts to serenade his way back into Hailey's heart but Kjesten has other ideas. A counselling session with Rose goes horribly wrong, Jake and Grayson become honorary women and more shock video footage is released turning the community against Maxine.
