House Party

When Adam Palinchuck agrees to house sit for his parents, he plans a quiet, intimate evening to impress his high school crush Megan, with friends Allison and Eric as buffers. Of course, these plans go awry when Allison shows up with her strange new boyfriend, Eric brings the rest of Winnipeg, and Megan is nowhere to be found.

Eric’s essentially a good guy. When he invited half of Winnipeg to Adam’s party, he didn’t realize it was supposed to be an intimate gathering. Eric tries to call the party off, but Adam is too angry for help and spurns his best friend, who spends the rest of the night on a desperate quest for inebriation.

Allison shows up to the party with her new boyfriend, British Darren. He is the nicest, sweetest thing. Everything is sunshine and roses. And she can't take it anymore.

Mandy shows up to the party determined to make up for lost time caused by health issues in high school. And she brings enough wine to make sure of it.

Megan's back in town for reading week when Allison tells her about Adam's party and she couldn't be happier. She's always liked Adam and is excited to think that he may actually be ready to confess his feelings for her too.

Adam has accidentally taken the cat's medication. He's also called the girl of his dreams horrible names, alienated his best male friend, and made out with his best female friend. Now he's got to fix everything.
