Vicious Tornado Troop leader Electra is ready to mate, but male lemur Flash is somewhat cautious of approaching the boss.

During Ring-tailed lemur mating season, tensions in the Berenty reserve in south-east Madagascar are increasing between the two rival gangs, Tornado Troop and Graveyard Gang; the two rival groups clash ferociously over both mates and territory.

When both gangs are caught in a vicious storm, Pegleg winds up lost; the Tornado gang are lead into the tourist camp and cause trouble with the human residents.

After getting his leg injured in a tussle with Chelsea, wild-child Gizmo struggles to keep up with the rest of the members of the gang, while receiving no help from his mother.

As a result of baby Gizmos leg injury, he is struggling to keep up with his family, and is neglected by his mother, Amazon; the arrival of feral dogs causes some of the lemurs to be separated, and spells disaster for one.

A gang of three adolescent males enters the reserve, and their leader Titus quickly attempts to court Graveyard female Topaz; Liberty loses her son Hogarth, and he must try to find his way home.
