Little Mosque on the Prairie

A small Muslim community in the prairies gets their very own mosque, but the only problem is it's inside a church; this addition and the arrival of a new spiritual leader in town causes some tension between the local Christians and Muslim community.

At the mosque, a barrier construction project that aims to separate the men and women during prayer is announced.

Amaar proposes that the mosque has an open house as a way of reaching out to the community's non-Muslim residents, which leads to unexpected consequences.

Mercy's Muslim women protest co-ed swimming classes at the local pool; meanwhile, Baber refuses to let Layla go out for Halloween, causing Amaar to suggest an Islamic version of the heathen holiday.

A white Muslim-convert, Marlon, catches the entire Mosque's attention; at first, his zealotry wins over Baber, but eventually he gets on the other members' nerves so they come up with schemes to turn him off of strict, conservative Islam a bit.

Yasir's mother visits from Lebanon and proposes that he take a second wife; Sarah is encouraged by the mayor to take a second husband in response; meanwhile, Rev Magee considers performing a gay marriage.
