An exciting three-part adventure that documents the creativity, inspiration and journey behind one of the most anticipated culinary events of 2016 - the opening of noma Australia at Barangaroo, Sydney. In this first episode, Rene Redzepi arrives in Australia. With glimpses of the construction that will become the harbour side home of the ten-week noma Australia residency, Rene travels to outback Australia to visit a local indigenous community.
In the second episode, work continues at the restaurant; from the building of the kitchen and dining room, to the development of the menu in the noma test kitchen. As the project continues, the noma team explore the sights and sounds of the Sydney foreshore whilst gaining a different perspective on what the city has to offer.
This finale sees René and the team complete their work in the test kitchen, and final preparations are made for opening night before doors open on the noma Australia residency.
