The Orville

Ed Mercer is thrilled to be promoted to captain of his own ship by the Planetary Union. His happiness soon becomes despair when he discovers that his ex-wife will be his first officer.

Ed and Kelly are taken as prisoners and trapped inside a copy of their former home. Alara is forced to attempt a brave rescue mission, and Bortus and Klyden process some unexpected news.

The crew of the Orville are morally divided when they take a trip to Bortus' planet. Bortus and Klyden must decide whether they should approve a controversial surgery for their new child.

The crew are surprised to come across an enormous vessel floating in space. They become worried when they realise it is in danger of colliding with a star. Part of the gang remains to defend another ship.

Ed falls for the captain of a stranded ship, which the crew tries to assist. Kelly is not convinced of Pria's good intentions, and Gordon tutors Isaac in the art of practical jokes.

Ed and Gordon are chosen by the Union to embark on a special mission. They must attempt to get on board a Krill ship and take a copy of the Krill bible, but there is plenty that could go wrong.
