Picnic at Hanging Rock

On Valentine's Day 1900, a group of schoolgirls mysteriously disappear while on a picnic outing at Hanging Rock.

A young man heads back to the rock after the search for the girls is called off. He discovers something which shocks him, and could turn the entire investigation around.

The Rosschild heiress is found unharmed, but claims to remember nothing about the incident. The Sergeant turns his focus on the college, as the investigation continues.

The old order begin to lose control, as aftershocks from the disappearance continue; Hester finds it difficult to maintain control, as a strange visitor brings back old memories.

Mademoiselle becomes worried as Mrs Appleyard continues to act strangely; the Sergeant attempts to gain one more interview with Irma, and a secret promise is revealed.

Hester believes she has discovered the real reason for the disappearances. She heads back to Hanging Rock despite the dangers, to learn secrets regarding the incident.
