A second year student bumps into a bunny girl at the library, who turns out to be a third year student who's taking a break from working as an actress. She tells him never to associate with her, but he approaches her at the train station.
Sakuta schedules a date with Mai in order to investigate the cause of her Adolescence Syndrome. An unfortunate mistake on his way there makes him late to the date.
Nearly everyone loses their memories of Mai. Returning to school, Sakuta learns that the memory loss is related to taking a specific action, making him worry that he'll also forget her.
Shortly after Mai resolves her syndrome, Sakuta finds himself reliving the same day over and over. He speaks to Rio and she raises the possibility that someone may be repeating and redoing a day.
Tomoe wants to turn down a date and turns to Sakuta for help, and insists that she and Sakuta continue to pretend dating.
With the first term ending, Sakuta and Tomoe come to the final day of their pretend relationship and must decide on a reason to break up.
