Saimdang: The Herstory

In the 16th century, a man is driven mad after working on a portrait of a mysterious female artist. In the present day, an art history lecturer's refusal to certify a suspicious painting lands her in trouble.

With Ji-yoon Seo and Sang-hyeon Han out of the picture, and the controversy surrounding the authenticity of Mount Kumgang quashed, plans for the exhibition of the painting go ahead.

When Saimdang expresses her desire to see the beautiful sights waiting for her in the world, Lord Uiseong vows to travel with her as soon as they marry, and the pair plan to visit Mount Kumgang first.

Gyeom Lee anxiously awaits the arrival of a marriage update from Saimdang, and a message of great importance is waylaid.

Following her father's death, Saimdang announces her intention to move to Hanyang, but is unsure if she will ever return.

A drunk Gyeom Lee tracks down Saimdang. He demands an explanation for her decision to leave him, without a proper goodbye, and marry another man with no warning.
