Sloborn

A ghost ship carrying a deadly virus runs aground on Sløborn in the North Sea, but the islanders remain unaware of the danger.

The situation escalates when Evelin fails to abort her unborn child. The boys who discovered and looted the ghost ship spread the virus all over the island without knowing it.

As outsiders and insiders start to gather on the island, personal lives grow increasingly complex. The first casualties of the virus are made known.

Local authorities send a pandemic commissioner to take control of the island. Mayor Østergaard and Officer Mikkel don't like the new initiatives.

Local authorities introduce strict precautions. Herm and Evelin scheme against their parents in the name of love, but this leads to disaster as the virus claims another victim.

As Mikkel loses control of the island, people ignore the restrictions and events begin to spiral out of control.
