A couple, Natacha and Jerome, are found brutally murdered in their home, along with their baby. Madeleine, the couple's eight-year-old daughter, is the only survivor. Detective Belgarde is assigned to this case.

Madeleine, the eight-year-old girl who is the sole survivor of the murder massacre in her family, runs away as she struggles with her trauma; a suspect is brought to the station.

Madeleine has recovered her speech, but remains amnesic; Marie plunges back into the throes of mourning for her daughter.

Enzo comes clean to Belgarde about Coupini and his illegal arms trafficking while informing him that he has hidden some of them with his sister.

Belgarde discovers that Madeleine's father had decided to leave his wife. Meanwhile, the investigation into Lila, Marie's daughter, leads him to the brother of her former boyfriend, Matthieu.

Belgarde makes progress in the investigation into Lila's death; he discovers that his own mother, Jocelyne Belgarde, is transferring to her psychiatrist, Richard Vasseur, who is none other than Lila's father.
