A team, led by psychotherapist Demidov, are paid to deprogram a cult member, Nika. All of the team members have troubled pasts of their own to negotiate and Nika is deeply resistant to change.
Kira has escaped from school. At the cottage, a hypnotist believes that Nika's personality has been rewritten by the cult, while Berk, the leader of the cult, threatens Nika's parents.
The team track down a former cult member who gives them vital information about why Nika is so important to the cult. Nika begins to communicate with the team and draws close to Kira, but Berk is circling.
Nika is still missing but has not returned to the cult; Berk is enraged and goes after the deprogrammers with terrifying results; Lilya has a very unexpected visitor.
Demidov, Korean, Nika and Lilya join forces to find the missing child. They manage to trace Kira to a group of homeless people living in a forest under a leader, John, who is regarded as a god.
After the tragedy, Lilya realises that she must act alone to save her daughter. She joins the community and becomes a hard-working member to investigate John's plans. What is revealed terrifies her.
