After moving to a small town with her husband and children, teacher Victoire runs into her first love Florent as his daughter is in her class. Their once-powerful attraction flares up again.

When Marion's car is found, Florent and Victoire decide to keep their relationship a secret, especially as Samuel is assigned to the case.

Samuel and his colleague Alexandra suspect Florent of having murdered Marion in a fit of rage, while someone is trying to blackmail Florent and Victoire over their relationship.

Convinced that he's guilty, Alexandra and Samuel search for Florent and try to discover the identity of his mistress; Victoire finds and confronts the blackmailer.

Alexandra learns that Victoire is Florent's mistress and decides to set a trap for the latter; Émilie makes a confession; Victoire discovers new photographs that Florent found at Eric's house and confides in Alexandra.

Nine months later, Victoire and Florent become parents to a baby boy named Nathan, but all is not well with Victoire, who seems to be suffering from postpartum depression. One day, Nathan goes missing.
