Teamwork is everything in the Trigger team, but Han-do stands apart like a lone wolf; Oh So-ryong, intending to shape him into a dedicated investigative producer, enforces intense training; Han-do is hounded by a relentless workhorse.

With Soryong's help, Han Do tracks down the culprit and becomes curious about his justice-fuelled leader. Yet, her reckless dedication makes him uneasy. Joined by Giho, the Trigger team begins a risky investigation.

A suspect in a disappearance case returns twenty years later, seeking out Soryong. Ignoring the Chief Producer's concerns, Soryong goes ahead with the interview. Meanwhile, a woman arrives with a broadcast request.

A building collapses, injuring Soryong and Han Do; at the hospital, Soryong's stern reprimand unsettles Han Do; while investigating the disaster, Han Do discovers a surprising connection to a previous case.

Soryong and Han Do face backlash for their broadcast. Meanwhile, a person seeks out the Trigger team once again after ten years, seeking help for a renewed threat.
