The police close the investigation into Velonie's murder but the public is outraged; Inspector General declares that the identification of the assassin puts an end to the investigation.

Vivek and Sub-Inspector Ramar have their suspicions; Ruby is disappointed with the outcome of the investigation. Once again, Vivek asks Ruby to reflect on the events of the day before the murder.
