Drug smuggler and real estate agent Malcolm finds trouble after an altercation in Arizona and must escape to Mexico.

Malcolm shows Cara Sucia a different way to smuggle drugs across the border. Sheriff Valenzuela and Agent Wolf each investigate Malcolm.

Yvonne helps Malcolm, now called Yankee, contact his brother, who has a plan for his escape. Cara Sucia disciplines his men and Wolf locates a source in Mexico.

Wolf's life is endangered, while Cara Sucia agrees to introduce Yankee to Choche, as long as he follows his violent orders. Later, Del Toro makes a deal.

Much to Cara Sucia and Piporro's chagrin, Choche assigns Yankee more responsibility. Wolf is given a crucial mission and Phoebe struggles with financial woes.

Yankee meets instrumental cartel boss El Botas, Cara Sucia begins extorting store owners as Parra takes note, and Piporro's violence has consequences.
