A farmer in Iowa hears a voice which inspires him to build a baseball pitch on his cornfields in the hope of bringing legendary baseball stars back to life. Staring ruin in the face, he leaves farm and family to the mercy of creditors and embarks on an odyssey into the past, and towards an incredible reunion.
