Richard Stapley

Richard Stapley was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Stapley's career beginnings included film roles in the Lana Turner adventure "The Three Musketeers" (1948), the June Allyson dramatic adaptation "Little Women" (1949) and the Charles Laughton horror feature "The Strange Door" (1951). Stapley made film his next project, appearing in the adaptation "King of the Khyber Rifles" (1953) with Tyrone Power, the dramatic period piece "Charge of the Lancers" (1954) with Paulette Goddard and the Robert Stack action film "The Iron Glove" (1954). He also appeared in the Richard Conte drama "Target Zero" (1955) and the war "D-Day the Sixth of June" (1956) with Robert Taylor. Stapley's music was most recently featured in "The Restless Breed" (1957) with Scott Brady. Stapley passed away in March 2010 at the age of 87.
