Angels in Notting Hill
Christopher Lee plays two unforgettable voice roles - the boss of the universe and Mr. President, a talking toy dog – in his last film, a fantastic urban fairytale. Joy, the beginner angel, is sent back to earth to save an unwilling client. Geoffrey is completely detached from life and so obsessed with his dead girlfriend that even her ghost gets annoyed. He only speaks with his toy pet Mr. President, a plush dog, and the old Miss Maple, owner of the spooky antique shop “Alice’s” – until he falls in love with his attractive guardian angel. Joy has not been an angel for that long and gets too involved into her job. Joy and Geoffrey try to live together, and little miracles happen daily in Notting Hill. The boss of the universe gets increasingly annoyed about his messenger. A magical comedy of errors - dream and reality melt and nothing is what it seems. Shot on iconic locations of London: Notting Hill, Hackney, Grand Union Canal, and Brighton.
