Pixie Davies

Pixie Davies was a British actress who began working when she was still a child, and first rose to prominence at a young age, appearing in the long-awaited sequel to one of the most beloved films of all time, "Mary Poppins" (1964). Born and raised in England, Davies made both her film and TV debut in 2012, with a small role in the yuletide comedy "Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger" (2012), and the miniseries "The Secret of Crickley Hall" (BBC, 2012), a supernatural thriller in which she played Cally Caleigh. She would soon go on to appear in the horror film "Out of the Dark" (2014), as well as the miniseries "The White Queen" (BBC One, 2013), the made for TV movie "Esio Trot" (2015), and the TV series "Utopia" (Channel 4, 2013-14). Davies landed her first series regular role in 2015, playing Sophie Hawkins on the popular sci-fi drama series "Humans" (Channel 4, 2015-). She next appeared in the big budget adaptation of Ransom Riggs' 2011 YA fantasy novel, "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" (2016), directed by Tim Burton. However, Davies' breakout role came when she was cast in the role of Annabel Banks, daughter of the now adult Michael Banks (Ben Whishaw) in "Mary Poppins Returns" (2018), a direct sequel to the Disney classic, which saw Emily Blunt take on the titular role of the magical nanny made so famous by Julie Andrews, and opened to critical acclaim and Oscar buzz in December of 2018.
